This vintage dish (that ran away w/the spoon) set is from my grandmother’s estate. I’ve not been able to identify the authentication stamp on the bottom other than the dish was painted by Blakeman/Hendrickson out of the Limoges, France manufacture plant and the mark is #B45C from 1890’s to early 1900’s era. The gold paint on the edges of this dish is heavily applied. The spoon is a different design but goes nicely w/the dish. Any and all help appreciated.
Limonges had a lot of artists hand painting there items in the shops and private studio’s. There were hundreds of factories and used a lot of gold. Most average bowls are value between $80-100.00 depending on whats painted on it, design etc. There is lots of web sites about limoges and Google Images have 100rds of pictures.
