Looking for some help. I have recently gotten into the pottery/porcelain collecting and was given some pieces from an old friend. She says there from the 50’s but can’t seem to find anything out on them. Have searched several sites looking for the mark that’s on the bottom. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Well,, I can tell you that these are not factory items and not even studio items !! Most likely someones hobby pieces and if I were betting I would bet they are from the 70`s rather than the fifties !! The artwork is crudely done with uneven lines and if you will look at the hand on the second pic the fingers are not cleaned so they are independent of each other !! Looks more like a mitten than a hand with fingers !! This means it was not cleaned well after molding !! Back in the 70`s there was a surge in oriental decorating !! probably someones inexpensive way to get the look without spending much money !! No telling who or what the mark is but if someone is making these to sell you would find a known mark or a signature !!
