I realize this is a duplicate. If I knew how to remove the other entry, I would. Please bear with me here. I inherited this Nippon Handpainted vase from an avid collector of antiques during the Great Depression. Can anyone help me describe it and place a value on it? I had thought to sell it on eBay. Any help would be appreciated.
thank you for looking at the Pickard vase. I found a signature of it and attempted to add pictures showing the size of the mark and the signature. I have either flooded the inbox of Kovels with multiple messages, which I apologize for, or failed miserably. Am waiting to see if the pictures appear before trying again. The signature is not on the bottom, as it appeared to be on a lot of them on Google, but on the side. It is handwritten with a paintbrush, which is not easy to do, I guess. It seems to be J. M (or R) ic H or (K) followed by three or four letters. I had decided it was a clover pattern, due to the honeycomb of the gold on the green band, and the three and four leaf clover appearing flower things. I do appreciate your help.
