I realize this is a duplicate. If I knew how to remove the other entry, I would. Please bear with me here. I inherited this Nippon Handpainted vase from an avid collector of antiques during the Great Depression. Can anyone help me describe it and place a value on it? I had thought to sell it on eBay. Any help would be appreciated.

the vase is 9 inches. It has been in the same family since 1930 or so.

Good that is the correct size for the maple leaf mark !! These were not created on a wheel !! Just a regular mold,, same as they would be done today !! This mark,,if I remember correctly would be 1918 or after !! The air bubbles should not affect the value as long as they do not blemish the surface !! How tall is this vase ??
You did say these are family heirlooms didn`t you ??

The maple leaf is 1/4″. There are no discernible nicks or chips on it. There are three places that appear to be rough from being taken off a wheel. At least that’s how it would look on modern pottery. Thank you, I didn’t know what that green flower thing was. There are one or two indentations that I think are air bubbles that didn’t catch paint, but could not have been caused by damage. I can take more pictures if that would help. Thank you for your help.
