Hi there,

I have 4 items, 2 trinket dishes with lids and 2 candlesticks, all matching.
They are extremely thin
They all appear to be hand painted
No backstamp or writing of any sort

They have some numbers on them however, being the numbers 4318 30
They are a sort of amber and ivory color, mainly amber in tone
They have painted on them, grapes and grapevines in delicate tones and colors

Does anyone know anything about them, as I cannot find them anywhere on the internet

Impressed on one of the trinket pieces you can make out the number 2779

On the bottom of one or two of the pieces you can make out the number 2348 30 painted in gold
I previously read it wrong as it is handpainted

Hi there,

I did load some photos, but they have not appeared on the site as yet.
Is photo loading not instant on this site?

Chris is correct,, with that description they could be one of a hundred similar designs !! Can you post pics if one or two of the items and one pic of the bottom with numbers ?? Chances are they are the company shape numbers as each mold is identified by a number !! If numbers are hand written they could be a decorators number !!

The numbers have nothing to do with age or manufacture, in fact the items could have been made last week as far as we know. Up until now you can not even be sure if those are indeed pattern numbers as they could just as well be item numbers.

Without pictures I doubt anybody will be able to help further.

Am I right that they are antiques, as they have no markings apart from the pattern no,s?
