My Mother painted china in the 40’s and 50’s. She had some ‘blanks’ that she purchased to ‘paint’ – but never got around to using them, and they have been in storage since the 50’s. One is a ‘curved’ hexagonal covered dish, about 8″ across, with a rose on the top, very delicate, thin petals. It is marked “Made in Occupied Japan”, but there are no other markings. It is white porcelain, with only the rose and raised decorations – nothing painted. I have looked at thousands of eBay ‘occupied Japan’ pieces – and none are even remotely close to this lovely piece. Can someone help with a value? Thanks. Linda
