I have recently purchased a set of dinner plates, salad/bread plates, soup bowls, fruit/sauce bowls, cups, saucers, serving platters, vegetable bowl, sugar bowl, and creamer, that all have “MADE IN OCCUPIED JAPAN” stamped in green on the back. However, there is no maker’s mark on them. I tested the mark with fingernail polish remover, and the mark remains on the dishes. I did a little research, and they look like Crescent CST7 pieces to me. I’m wondering if you could help me assess their value.
If you have a complete set like at least 8-12 place setting and in very good cond. Value could be $400-600.00. a lot depends on how beautiful the pattern is. Usually there is another symbol besides Made in occupied Japan. You may never know in which factory or city your china was made in, there was tons of it made all over being shipped here. Have a good day
