I’m trying to find information on this piece ( rarity, value, etc..) but can’t seem to find any. I bought it for my wife recently for Christmas. She has a 9 and 10 inch bowl already. This one is a 15 inch. The markings are ink stamped in the 9 and 10 but the 15 has either hand carved or molded marks.
Thanks for any information you may pass my way.
Yes, I saw the post a couple of days ago (12/24/16 at 10 A.M., to be exact) and immediately got in contact with the seller after setting up an e-bay account. The previous couple of days prior to that I was driving around to various local shops hoping to get lucky but all I saw were blue spongeware and very few were even close to being anything that resembled a bowl, let alone ‘the’ bowl. So I wasn’t online much.
Now, my new favorite book is , ‘MARTHA SAVES CHRISTMAS’. 😀

You did say 12 inch ?? This has the early mark same as the one you posted !! But if you buy this one check that shipping rate !! They have it for expedited shipping which is way too much !! Go for regular priority rate !! Less expensive and usually three day delivery !!
Do all yours have the spongeware painted inside as well ?? This one doesn`t,, in case it makes a difference !!
