m4rsh4ll you have a Satsuma – type ware it is Japanese, in the mid-twentieth century a tremendous amount of Satsuma – type ware was produced for export to the US much is of poor quality with rather crude painting, this is were your cup falls I would place a value of $5.00 True Satsuma is marked & has finely detailed hand painting with heavy gold enameling it is very fine quality and one cup & saucer can bring $300.00 sorry:(
