Hello Everyone,

I am reaching out for help to better understand the mark and maker of this set of 6 bread & butter plates I own. I’m pretty sure they were made by the P. Donath Silesian Porcelain Factory in Tiefenfurth, Silesia, around 1910-1916. However, the mark shown in Kovel’s New Dictionary of Marks shows the name “DONATH” printed underneath the griffon, whereas my plates all say, “PRUSSIA”. Does this make a difference in when the plates where made and is the maker the same? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
