I came across a beautiful old set of china at a yard sale. I fell in love with it and got it for a steal at $5…the woman just wanted rid of it.
I have cups and saucers, sugar bowl, creamer, bowls, different size plates, and a large covered bowl.
From what I am able to tell, it appears to be Marlene’s Lace. It is stamped M 46. I am assuming that the 46 means it was made in 1946. I can’t find out much else about it. Can anyone help me out? I would love to learn more about it…about a rough value maybe even.
Thanks for any help!

You may have already read this but in case you have not it is a pretty extensive history of the company !! Quite interesting !! As to value,,the best way to see what people are actually paying for similar ware is to check ebay !! Not list prices but completed sales !! See if anyone is bidding on them !! You can also check Replacements.com but the actual value would be considerably less they their selling price !! No matter what,, you got a good buy !!
