I cannot find any information, save one instance of a sale in 2008, of sale of an item which sounds like mine. There is no picture of it.
this is a Pisgan Forest cookie jar/urn with a lid. I do not at this time have a good picture of it. I just want to know if this is genuine Pisgah Forest or it there have been copies made. the stamped date is faint, but it is definitely either 1954 or 1934. Can anyone help me ?

Please ignore the file. I couldn’t remove it.

Pisgah pottery, near Arden N. Carolina-1926-to 1961 when name on pottery changed to Stephen Pottery co, It went back & forth with these two names. If you could discribe mark I could tell when it was made. Their products included Jasper ware, cameo & a crackled glaze ware. I am certain no repo’s were made of their ware. All their ware was dated up to 1961. They were still in business up to 1988 when the book I have was printed in 1988. Lehners Pottery & porcelian by Lois Lehner
