Hello, I have scoured the internet and reached out to my resources to no avail. This mark is found on a vase I recently purchased. Was purchased at an estate auction and thus I have no history on it. There is a mark on the side that I cannot decipher. The vase depicts what looks like cartoon like monks and/or geishas. The glaze is imperfect and pitted. Please help! Since the pic is not upright I can`t ttell what it looks like !! The mark looks like Chinese !! Chances are it is not a makers mark or factory mark !! Usually the just tell the region where made or even could be associated with the artwork on the jug !! Try www.gotheborg.com !! Its an excellent site for Japanese or Chinese artwork, pottery ect !!
