I have owned this lovely lady for at least 15 years, but have not been able to identify her. I recently tracked the pottery mark on the bottom to a company called Nippon Yoko Boeki, but can’t find any examples of this lady head anywhere. If anyone has any information that could help, I would be very appreciative.
Hi, Your lady head vase was made in the 1950ties at the NIHON YOKO BOEKI CO. Your’s is sorta rarer than most. I did find one that was very close to your’s valued at $222.00. Kovel’s 1911 price guide book. The price could be higher, it depends on if two collectors do not have this particular girl. She’s very detailed and look’s to be in very good condition. Like a lot of thing’s prices dropped on these head vases. But some are still very valuable. Have a good day!
