I have owned this lovely lady for at least 15 years, but have not been able to identify her. I recently tracked the pottery mark on the bottom to a company called Nippon Yoko Boeki, but can’t find any examples of this lady head anywhere. Wow…thank you for that information. So, Nihon or Nippon Yoko Boeki? The value is astounding, but I have not found any examples of this particular lady in any books, so the curiosity has been killing me. I took her to a show once and without even examining her closely, a dealer quickly offered me $35, which of course I rejected because I could never part w/ her. She is in excellent condition and much cherished in my collection. Thank you again.
