I’m hoping someone can help me identify a marking on a pottery crock. The item dates back at least as far as the 1940’s (probably earlier). It was owned by a family member who lived in Minneapolis, MN.

The marking appears on the side of the crock. It is stamped/raised. There are no other markings on the base of the piece.

3 Photos attached.

Have any of you seen this marking?????

Have found nothing yet that is similar !! How big is this crock !!

Martha –
The crock has the following dimensions:
Height: 14″
Diameters:
at the top of the crock, edge to edge: 8-1/2″
at the fattest/widest/middle of the crock: 12-1/2″

I appreciate any help you can provide identifying it.

The crock was found in the basement of my husband’s grandfather, so I think it has some age to it….

BUT…If it has zero value, out it goes with donations!!

😉
