I have been collecting almost 25 years. I still get a big surprise sometimes when I go thrifting. Like one time I bought a beautiful pair of Victorian sterling napkin rings. This time I knew I found Something special because I didn’t know what it was, and I collect central European porcelain. When I found this bowl I did the normal thing of feeling for imperfections and chips, I couldn’t find any. I tapped the side and it rang like a dull old bell, so it wasn’t cracked, So it is mint with very little wear to the gold. It stands 3 1/2 inches tall and a little over 6 inches in diameter. It has an under glaze mark the is a “N ’79”. Which points to Niderviller Faience factory with a date of 1779. Did I really find a 18th century bowl? What would the value on a piece like this be? Thanks Mark
