Hello all. I have what might be a porcelain? cobalt blue and white cat approximately 12 inches tall that has been in my family for decades and is probably a pitcher as the head serves as a stopper. I have no idea where it was purchased, what it is worth (if anything), et cetera, and would be most appreciative if you would please take a look at the attachment. If anyone has any ideas on this I would love to hear from you. In advance, I appreciate your time and effort.

My husband and I now believe that this item is actually glass WITH porcelain (see photos – I hope? 🙂 Hmmm… I deleted my last post (at least I thought I did? – I was experimenting to make sure that I could upload and wanted to add more pics – oh well). Thanks for responding! I e-mailed someone on this site, perhaps a moderator as, for whatever reason, I wasn’t able to upload a photo…:( So – waiting for a reply on that one. I haven’t seen anything even resembling this piece – anywhere – and truly would like more information so hopefully I’ll be able to get a photo on here soon.
Hi, your picture did’nt come through. You can google Difference between pocelain and ceramic and find many sites that help with that. I can usually tell by the feel and pocelain is quite thinner. Any mark’s on your cat? Even no mark’s your picther cat is a desirable item. It appeals to cat lover’s and people who collect cobalt blue and white color’s. It does have value but how much I don’t know without some more info.
