Hello Everyone,
I would like to ask you if is it better to fix the pottery/ceramic items /cracks, missing colour, etc./ if you want to sell it or is it better to leave the item as it is and leave decision on the buyer. My point is, where the profit should be higher in general?
a) crack + fix = higher price
b) cracked = lower price, but no fix
Thank you.

What kind of item do you have in mind ?? Only in rare instances should any restoration be done !! And for low end items restoration can cost several times what an item is worth !! Best thing is to sell as-is and let the buyer decide !! That way the buyer takes all the risk if damaged while being restored !!

Thank’s “martthahill”, all clear.
I was thinking about items which are in the header.
I have seen many ‘low end items’ on ebay which are fixed. According to your info that the profi restoration is expensive, obviously just no expert has fixed it.
Good point about the risk.
Thank you once again …. I am getting there 🙂
