Hello Everyone,
I would like to ask you if is it better to fix the pottery/ceramic items /cracks, missing colour, etc./ if you want to sell it or is it better to leave the item as it is and leave decision on the buyer. My point is, where the profit should be higher in general?
a) crack + fix = higher price
b) cracked = lower price, but no fix
Thank you.
No,, I have no commitment here !! I just started answering a few questions because for years no one did !! I have another forum that I think you would enjoy !! I had an antique shop years ago and have dealt with these smaller items for the last 30 years !!
I do not have a collection of anything much,,but I have bits and pieces that I like !! Some only have value to me !! Thats the point of buying what you like !!
Furniture is more in my area !! Mainly 19th and 20th century !! Have done some study on that !!
I will finish this tomorrow if you don`t mind !! I am bushed and ready to take my shoes off and relax !! Had to take hubby to the eye clinic today !! Will explain about that tomorrow too !!
