We have a three-sectioned, handled relish dish with a mark which includes (in addition to the Mehlem mark) a diamond over a number 2, a D in a circle, and the initials C.B. The pattern is one we have not found in any of those available in images online. It’s blue and white with a gilt edge, floral background, and a geometrical shape with inset on each of the three sections: (1) Irises inside a rectangle; (2) mountains inside the outline of a figure 8; and (3) a tree inside a scalloped (with curves and points) oval. There are no cracks or chips in the pottery/porcelain, but the glaze is crackled with discoloring behind. We’d like to know what all the additional marks mean and whether the dish has any appreciable value.
