Hi, I am pretty sure that this is a piece of what is called Art Pottery or Studio Pottery and not of Asian Origin.

Would you know where it came from and how old it is? This would give me an idea of the Country it pertains to?

I could also really do with a clearer image of the mark so that I can attempt to identify it though this may not be easy, as not all Studio pottery marks are listed – Am I right in thinking that the mark looks like a 6 winged dragonfly?
