Hello-

I’m new to all this.

I just bought a 2 quart hand painted crock It says The Pomeroy House Est 1848. it had the artist signed as “DaRel” 18/500.

I have attempted to locate the artist, but I cannot seem to find anything about them. How can I tell if this is even a real authentic Robinson Ransbottom Roseville piece it’s stamped on the bottom as Robinson Ransbottom Roseville Ohio USA #20 High Jar.

Any help or direction to point me in would be much appreciated.

Thank you!

Carolyn

You can find many variations of these on ebay !! Since this is numbered 18/500 its possible they were purchased as blanks and The Pomeroy House had them decorated !! Or it was a special order and RRP decorated them !!
