My husband found a Rookwood squat vase at a local thrift shop for $1. the other day. We have been trying to find any information on it that is out there. From the markings on the bottom we found out that is it from the late 1800’s and there is also a artists initials on it. No roman numerals. Its a pretty little squat with “embossed” leaves and I think it is standard glaze and it’s brown. The shape I believe is 689 and the Artist is Mattie Fogleson. Really nice condition. Crazing only and no damage.I will upload a pic soon! Do any of you know of a website that might have photos of the various types of Rookwood? Thank you for your help…….Caroline

My photo is too large to upload but I can email it or text if anyone is interested in helping find out what it is worth. More than $1 I hope! 🙂
