Hi,
I just joined Kovel’s website.
I have collected Roseville Pottery, for more than 40 years.
I received, from a Great Aunt, a Roseville Pottery Gardenia Green Bowl, though she called it a Console bowl.
It’s marked Roseville U.S.A. 12″ 630.
I do not have any idea of it’s value or the year it was produced.
This item is in Very Good to Excellent condition.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Late period planter produced in 1950 !! Roseville lists 30+ different shapes for the Magnolia series !! Yours is listed at about $125. but there are many available online so take that price with a grain of salt !! Could be less !!
Hello marthahill,
Thank You for the information.
I remember when Roseville pottery vases were selling for $200.00(regardless of pattern.)
The market, for Roseville pottery, has become overwhelmed by the sheer number of available listings that the law of Supply and Demand now dictates price and, IMHO, it’s a crying shame.
I suppose I am Old School because there will always be a niche to price RV P with sentimentality in mind.
These are personal feelings, thoughts and opinions.
I’d rather take a hammer to a RV vase, instead of selling it for $25.00.
