Hey all – new here and new in the collecting world – but I am looking forward to “meeting” you folks and working with you over time.

I have been trying for a few hours now to try and locate any history on Royal Staffordshire Pottery or Royal Pottery – not sure which.

Located in Burslem, England – there is a mention in connection with it in the Central Pottery section of thepotteries.org site – but it chops off.

I am about to purchase a very lovely set with a number of pieces – and I want to make sure that this is authentic since I haven’t been able to track the mark down that I have a pic of.

I went through the entire crown marks section here – any other thoughts? Anyone know if there is a company name I SHOULD be looking under?

I don’t mind doing the research myself 🙂 Just running into dead ends and want to find this before I spend the money
