I’m new on this. I have an RS Suhl hatpin holder the bottom is marked RS SuL with a capital L, the colors are red/orange with green inside the wreath leaves.
Some books refer to this as the “New” mark. Not sure if by “new” mark they mean fake.

The bottom of the hatpin holder is not shiny as the rest of the porcelain.

Would this be an authentic piece??

Didn’t know how to add pictures but here are the links for the Hatpin Holder and the logo
Thank You

I guess that nobody can say without actually seeing the piece and the mark – there are many fake marks around, but there are just as many undocumented changes to original marks shown in older books.

Some works refer to ‘newer’ marks when they mean the later introduced ‘cleaner’ versions: Schlegelmilch at one point changed the general appearance of some mark forms into a more ‘crisp’ design.
