Hi Everybody, I am just wondering what the value of this item would be. I purchased it because I thought it was beautiful and it is in very good condition. I have attached a picture of the teacup & saucer. I know it is a Shelley Rose Peony teacup and saucer from about 1961 but haven’t been able to find another one online to compare it to. It’s a nice set and I have seen them selling (asking price anyway) for over $200.00 If you needed to assess a value for insurance I would put it at $250 just to be safe.
I haven’t had to purchase that pattern so I can’t speak to what people are actually getting for it (it also rarely shows up for sale) but as I mentioned I have seen it recently at an asking price of over $200.
