HI, I’m trying to find out about a jardiniere I have. I know nothing about it at all, it has this mark at the bottom, which I’ve been searching for when I came upon this site. Can anybody help please?

Its accessible it could be an artisan signature from a clandestine flat and you may never acquisition out. In either case it’s appealing so adore it.:P

Hi,

Thank you very much for taking so much trouble. No, Wales is in the U.K and Thanksgiving is only an American holiday. I hope you had a good one though!

I should have said, it isn’t likely to be American as we believe it belonged to my mother’s grandmother.. my mohter is now 87, so yes pretty old. It’s most likely to be European.

Once again, thank you so much for all your help.

I looked in all the books I have on ameican marks so it must be foreign. Did you try pocelian, pottery marks & more? It does’nt look Asian. Is your pot old? I don’t suppose they celbrate Thanksgiving in Wales or do you? I still have some other sites to try yet. Its possible it could be an artist signature from a private studio and you may never find out. In either case it’s pretty so enjoy it.
