Hello

I have a plate marked “societe ceramic maestricht made in Holland”

I have attached photos. The subject of the plate seems odd it appears

to be of a disfigured woman. Her face is scared or perhaps burned?

She appears to be maybe in a hospital?

I was wondering if anyone might have any information on this.
