We have an old white (looks like ceramic) Roman column candlestick handed down from an elderly aunt in our family. She saw it in a New England antique store and when she made a remark about it, the proprietor said it was his but he would sell it because it was one of four (or six?) and he had hunted for years to find the others of the set with no luck. He told her it was from the White House – It is has an impressed stamp that looks like EBWP and a black block print stamp that reads GERMANY. It is about 12 inches tall.

Thanks for any insight you can give me or where I could look online.

Janet
