Can anyone provide information about a 19th century 4-gallon salt glazed stoneware jug? It is approximately 19″ tall with no cracks or chips. I would like to know the estimated value and any other details about its origin. It is cream coloured with a single attached handle. The only marks on it are a large “4” and a small incised “A” near the bottom edge.
