I have a Teco Pottery #283 in an uncommon color , light brown…double stamped on the bottom . No cracks,no chips no dings…I took photos just now to post , hope the link works. It has what appears to be a right handed small thumbprint that was in the wet clay before firing , but the glaze finish is intact …would like to know what others think…It came into my possession from a deceased family members estate..Title

Many of American Terra Cotta Pottery`s final colors depended on the glaze used !! The matte green in various shades was the main color used but they also used others !! I would check with sites specifically for art pottery for any value !! I will try to check later !!
