I have a luncheon/dinner plate and 12 dessert dishes. White with Floral design. The plate and the dishes are banded in embossed silver. The design looks like tiny flowers and leaves and something I cannot identify. I have always been told that they belonged to Tsar Nikolai of Russia.
The dinner plate says Saxe under a mark that looks like a crown with two crossed arrows. On the dinner plate only, there is a starlike gold emblem of some sort. The dessert dishes have the crown and arrows and say Saxe as well and they have some squiggly marks (in black) that look like numbers, but can’t say for sure.

No standalone picture of the gold mark so far, ergo we can not help further.

One guess would be that it’s merely a cover-up of an original manufacturer mark.
