Yes that’s correct. Both are rather blurred, but it is a crown and an M as you describe. They look hand painted & thus quite naive in execution. But regardless, I can’t find any reference to anything that would marry a crown and M in this style (but then I do write computer software for a living and this is one of my old parents’ collection that’s gathering dust in the basement at the moment 🙂 ).
