hi george, I can say for certain now that it is a Norcrest mark. While going through my flea market item’s in two weeks I found a small turkey planter with the N and square around it just like your’s. Thank you for replying to me earlier. The reason you can not find it is because it’s too new and these items do not have their own listings in any price guide book or list of marks.

Based on further research based on the Norcrest suggestion I do not believe this is a Norcrest mark but I still do not know whose mark it is. It is quite an elaborate mark and I am baffled that I can’t find it.

Thank you for feedback. It is a very fancy and elaborate mark for a somewhat inexpensive vase. Thanks again.

This mark has been driving me crazy for two day’s because i kept thinking I have seen this mark before, then it hit me. After going over all countries of mark’s on web and internet. I think the mark is N for Norcrest. Some of their item’s are marked N but most is label’s which has a fancy N and label’s were square. They made ton’s of beautiful vase’s and figurines. A lot are collectables but rather cheap. All were made in Japan for american’s such as Enesco and Lefton. Even though you did not ask for value. Your vase is not worth much. I could be wrong but at least I tried. Also a lot of Norcrest items are numbered like your’s. Mostly !950,60,an70ties

Here is one more picture. The ccolor is a little darker than picture shows. It is well made.[/img]
