I have the opportunity to purchase this piece of Goebel pottery from the estate of a family member.

I know nothing of its history but after hours of internet browsing traced the mark to Goebel and the style of the mark suggests this dates from 1935. It also bears the stamp XR113.

But, having been through ebay and many other sites I haven’t come across another piece like this – neither an identical piece or any other items in the same style.

Can anyone offer any information on this piece? Is it actually more common than I have concluded.
