This is something of an awesome and very unique 10″ diameter ARTS & CRAFTS style looking pottery serving plate in a with a fine brown sprayed finish over a light green under glaze. The brown glaze crawl and opens over the green glaze especially on the applied curled and ‘faux’ rivited pottery serving handle as well as areas in the center of the plate and the outer edge of the lip. The plate sits on s small circular lipped base.

I picked this up at a yard sale. This piece is unmarked. Is there anyone that recognizes the maker of this cool plate? I doubt that it is American though I could be wrong. I have seen German pottery with a glaze similar to this but I have no idea where it originated from. I am not sure if it is pre – 1920’s or maybe even late as the 1940’s. As always I extend a ‘thank you’ in advance for any help in identifying this by either maker, country, age or all of the above.
