I have a new mystery I am trying to solve. I have a green Delft bud vase 5 1/2″ tall that I have not been able to find any comparisons. I think it is somewhat rare and would like to know the value if anyone has an idea. Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi, I have some info on your delft. While looking for another mark I found the exact same mark as your’s. Your item was made in U.S.A.by the Cook ceramic manufactoring co. in Trenton New Jersey. Found in Lehners pottery and porcelian book on page 107.It has too much to list all the info but here is some excerpts. Cook made Belleek on which he used a feather mark and also produced a very good grade of Delft ware along with hotel ware odd dishes and jardinieres erc. from 1893-1959. Your item was made between between 1925- to late 40ties. I believe your item is perhap’s in a hotel and was used as a water container used by the bedside?

Hi, I’ve been doing some research on your vase. The mark is ALMOST indentical to old delft made in England except for top part. Old delft mark has a round circle with straight line on top of circle, your’s is narrow and oblong. Also your vase is to white. Old delft has a off white or grayish to blueish color and according to Kovels old delft is tin glazed pottery and all dark blue on grayish white or multicolored. Now I don’t know if you have a fake or not. My personal opinion is I think it’s not that old. I also looked in all my books for your marks on the roosters and came up empty, they are either to new or made in another country. thank you
