Any idea on these? I don’t see any marks. Have been around for close to 60 yrs.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Thats why you are the expert and I am not !! Thanks Friedrich,, I would not have guessed either importer looking at the detail on the figurines ! The mfrs in your region did such fine work that is the first place I thought of !!

Sorry to say that these figures are not German or related. The two holes at the bottom (slip and vent hole) are signs of slip-casting; the used numbers (as shown) that of post-war Japanese origin. Probably made for Arnart, HomCo, or similar importers/distributors.

He pops in every few days or so !! You might add “Germany ??” to your title so he will see it !! He usually responds to questions about that region !! He may have an idea of the Mfr !!

Thank you as always. The colors are not faded…they just appear so in the photo. I remember when I was a little girl..my mom telling to take care of them. I believe she told me what they were but unfortunately I cannot remember. I hope Friedrich responds. Is that someone who is on here often?

What has happened ?? I posted to this last evening !!
Try again,, These are very nice figurines but no way to know who made them !! They appear to be a good quality with excellent artwork !! Faces are very well done !! My guess is that they were made in Germany or that region !! Colors on the clothing appear to be a bit faded and that may hurt any sale price !! The larger firing hole means that they were made about mid century or after !!
Friedrich is an expert on porcelains of that region !! Maybe he will take a look soon!!
