I have five Wedgwood blue onion plates, 9″ across.
I have consulted my handy Kovels’ New Dictionary of Marks and still can’t figure out when they date from. I’m thinking either 1871 or 1897 based on the Z in the mark, but I really would like some assistance.
Then, of course, if I can get a date, I’d like some help valuing them.
Thanks!

As best I can figure your onion plate was made after 1908 and more likely after 1929 !! I say more likely because Wedgwood had a pretty confusing dating system. The above link does not show everything connected with dating Wedgwood because they repeated the sequence then changed numbers and letters so dating is pretty difficult !! Your mark was used in 1891 and made in England was added in 1908 for the McKinleyTariff act and used again in 1929 !! I checked several sources !!
