I picked this up for my cousin, Lilly’s, Christening. Any idea which LIMOGES porcelain producer claims this mark? In addition to the words, just above the “L” in LIMOGES, there’s a script “L” etched under the glaze. Thanks, Lisa

This is the most “modern” Limoges backstamp I’ve seen.
Many Limoges makers do not seem to identify themselves individually but trade on the cache of the Limoges name.

The style of the underglaze L is interesting to me however, in relation to an old piece I shall post.

Hi, you’re asking to find a needle in a haystack. At one time there were 700-800 porcelian & pottery factories in and around Limoges including the asians making items for these factories. Your piece does not have an old stamp with a name or initials.
