To clarify: the “DDR” stands for [i]Deutsche Demokratische Republik[/i] a.k.a. [i]German Democratic Republic[/i] or short “GDR”.

Manufacturer was the [b]VEB Steingutwerk Torgau[/b] from the town of [i]Torgau[/i] in Saxony; shown mark was used between 1954 and 1990.
