Hello!

I found this cool old teacup/mug at a thrift store and cannot figure out the markings to save my life.

The cup itself is pinkish, and the blue markings seem to be hand painted as they’re a little irregular. The marking on the bottom is green (a little unusual compared to what I normally find) but that hasn’t helped me find the maker.

To me, this looks like a crown over a bird which is over some text. The first line of text looks like three initials (maybe starting with an R?) and the second line seems to be a longer word.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Where in Texas ?? So am I !! Is the clay itself pink ?? Maybe I can find the area by the clay color !!

No way! What a small world. I’m in the College Station area! How about you?

The clay itself isn’t pink, just the glaze. I’ll try to get a better/more accurate picture of the color when I get home today.
