Hi,
I’m doing research on the values of antique restaurant & hotel menus of New York (specifically ones from the 1910s & 1920s) and I have a few questions that I haven’t been able to find much information on so far. Any information which you can provide me with is greatly appreciated.
Where / How do libraries & organizations such as New York Public Library acquire the majority of their antique menus in their collection?
How is the value of an antique restaurant menu defined?
Are there records of the cost / purchase price of the menus held by the library that I am able to view?
