I acquired several C&I framed lithos from a charity auction. Provenance is they were from an old 1903 NY bank’s wall decor (passed forward as stored as bank names and locations changed). I guess the bank in 1976 decided to give them to charity! Upon my inquiry as a first steo to research, one on-line appraiser felt the print dates of 1867,1849,1855 would indicate they were not original lithos. Should I accept that… Is there antique value in the vintage?
