My great aunt was a horder and when she died I saved a box full of newspaper comic strips.

These date from as earlier as 1918 to 1974. Most are from the 50’s and 60’s. Full page spreads, most are black and white, some are color.

Can anyone direct me to additional information regarding if these have any value? I do not want to pay for an appraisal and I’m not sure if the average appraiser would be knowledgeable about this.

I no longer have an interest in them and would like to sell them if they have any value or donate somewhere if they do not.

I know that there is some interest in this art form. I think Ohio State Univ. has a small department for this but they will not provide assistance.

I don’t find any useful info when I search online.
