I found this hidden at ane state sale and bought it, it is very very old. silk hand painted with a signiture, it has been taped to a picture board, flded over , tear at where it is folded. 16 x 18 1/2 i have serched all over and can not find another one like it. beautiful art work. on silk . thanks for any help at all

Try to get a close-up picture of the signature and take it to a Japanese item dealer or to any Japanese Community Centre and ask for assistance. Once you get the name translated, look it up on the internet.
