I’m looking for the artist and value of the attached paintings. I can’t figure out the artist because the signature is covered and I’m not very familiar with paintings. I’m hoping to get a bit more information so that I can research and if necessary get an appraisal.
Any information will be helpful and appreciated.
OK !! The back will have a paper cover but its just a dust cover to keep the canvas clean !! It can be removed without problems !! Some may have a heavier cardboard type of dust cover and if so may mean a commercial type painting from a department store !! There is no way to even guess at who painted it without seeing the signature !! The mountain scene is so similar to the scenes in many art books that I doubt its more than a starving artist type work !! I have done many like this !!
The other one could be a similar type but still need to see the signature !!
Are these paintings on canvas or prints done on paper ?? Is there glass over the front ??
They are paintings on canvas. No glass on the front but framing is sealed (possibly from time) so I’m unable to remove them to see any other details.
