The canvas is the same as many others and since it is not stamped with the name of any art supplier,,it is likely a less than quality stretcher frame !! Most will have the name of the supplier that made it !! Like Fredrix or Blick art supplies !! 16X20 is the most common size used so that doesn`t help !!
My suggestion would be to take it to a local gallery and see if they recognize the work !! They should be able to tell if its a Giclee print or a hand painted piece !! Odd that it has no signature !!

The paint does extend over the edges of the painting. Here are some close ups of it. The size is 16″x20″.

Can you take a closer pic ?? This one doesn`t enlarge enough to show detail !! Not sure its a painting !! Looks more like a Giclee print !! Modern prints reproduce every brush stroke and are difficult to distinguish from a hand painted piece !!
Does the paint extend around the edges of the canvas ??
